Mariola Italian: A New Addition to Wooster's Dining Scene

Mariola’s is a place Wooster so badly needed! Give credit to the owner “only a little credit here” for recognizing that and setting up shop with this Italian eatery! I’ve had it a few times and always enjoyed the experience! Here’s how my recent experience went! The salads were quite good! The Lasagna has always been GREAT! This time however I ordered the Mr Mariola and I was a bit thrown off by the taste. Taste was good! However, this pizza feels like a slight variation of East of Chicago Pizza here in town. Nothing wrong with the pizza but not quite up to par with the price. I believe there’s more value in town when it comes to pizzas. The fettuccine chicken Alfredo that I shared was VERY good!! Our service was wonderful! We briefly sat at the bar and got a drink before the rest of the table showed up and our bartender was fantastic. Really great service there! Our table server was always very knowledgeable of the menu! Only thing that wasn’t as timely was the check and asking if we wanted dessert twice. Things happen! I consider that a blip rather than a mistake really. Something to note however but otherwise, everything was pretty good! Bread is ALWAYS GOOD!!

I did not eat at the restaurant but I was working at a near by facility and everything that I got was a 10/10. The salad was fresh, the bread was amazing, and the lobster ravioli was the best thing I've had to eat in a while from a restaurant. There was enough sauce left for me to dip the bread in afterwards. Nothing makes me happier than a good meal and that put a smile on my face yesterday. Thank you!

They have a great lunch menu. I have only been here a few times but the food is excellent. Every single time I got the chicken parmesan sandwich lunch portion. It was amazing and my wife got the chicken parmesan with spaghetti. It was also amazing. We have had the pizza here and the dessert. You're both completely fantastic

This was our first time visiting Mariola Italian. We were looking for a place to eat in Wooster, and I thought I would take a chance, pop in, and ask the host, "Do you happen to offer gluten-free pasta?" (Most often the answer is no... and we have to move on.) When the host informed us that they did indeed have GF pasta ... we decided to be seated. When they brought their house-made foccacia, I jokingly asked if they had GF bread... and to my delight they said yes! The GF penne pasta was cooked to perfection, and the meatsauce was hardy and had just the right amount of seasoning. The salad was very good as well and used fresh quality ingredients! The service was great, and the atmosphere is modern and cheerful. But honestly, the GF focaccia really made my day! Occasionally a restaurant will serve GF pasta ... but I have never found a restaurant to freshly bake a plate of GF focaccia upon a request. Yes, there was a slight upcharge for both the GF pasta and bread, but it was SO worth it! My husband is a little bit picky about both restaurant food and atmosphere, but he really loved everything as well (including the GF foccacia!) I hate to gush, but this restaurant experience really lifted my spirits after a somewhat difficult week! We will definitely be back!

Well I am investigating what Wooster has to offer for food and atmosphere. First one the block was Mariolas Italian restaurant. The bread appetizer they bought out with olive oil and balsamic was very tasty. Then I ordered the chicken parmesan. They brought me 2 nice sized breaded chicken breast and pasta. The pasta was undercooked a little bit more than my liking. Some of my pasta was crunchy not cooked all the way through. The decor is inviting and the service was acceptable. It's gonna be a revisit to try the pizza and hopefully a little better service.

This place is fantastic! Hands down one of the top three pizza places that I've had in my life. If you look at the pictures there's a little pizza. For $9, the kids get a make your own pizza experience and my 3-year-old was all about it!! The waitress was great, the overall vibe of the place is wonderful and this sauce is very unique! We will definitely be back!

The best Italian restaurant in Wooster hands down. Their fresh bread with oil and balsamic vinegar is top notch, be careful not to fill up on it lol. They have a great Caser salad witch comes loaded with cheese and flavor. We ordered the Vinny pizza, tons of toppings and homemade meatballs. The crust was crispy with the perfect chew factor. I most go to if you love Italian and are in Wooster.

We had our wedding event catered and Joe and the girl that came with him did an exceptional job! The food was fantastic! The service and set up was phenomenal. Everyone loved the bread, salad, and all three pasta dishes that they served. We had plenty of food and lots of leftovers to enjoy after. I would recommend Mariola’s catering for your event! Great job!
